Analyze Pricing Data
· Use quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze pricing history/ trend
· Provide analytical breakdowns of pricing structures and sales funnels (price elasticity of demand based on customer segment)
Develop Forecasts and Models
· Play a role in revenue forecasting by using statistical models to evaluate the potential impact of pricing strategies on margins, costs and thereby profitability and sales volume
Monitor Industry Trends & Develop Pricing Tools
· Stay informed of industry/ competition price trends and recommend pricing strategies in line with these trends
· Use/ develop dynamic pricing tools that enable the company to quickly respond to market trends
Ensure Effective Communication Internally & Externally
· Close communication with CS and business/ commercial teams to address the matters raised by customers regarding pricing
· Review and record price deviations and exceptions for future alignment with commercial team
Present Findings to Key Decision Makers
· Translate data into actionable information through written reports and visual presentations as a key decision enabler
Requirements
· At least a bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, business or other related fields
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a pricing/ financial analyst preferably in a similar industry
· Analytical mindset with a strong passion for research to stay updated of market dynamics
· Excellent command of statistical methods to derive insights from multiple data sources and use them to develop models and provide pricing advice
· Extensive understanding of revenue forecasting and profitability metrics
· Effective communication techniques ensuring collaboration with relevant functions
· Exceptional knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus
· Experience in team leadership would be a plus
