Minimum Required Qualification

• Proficient knowledge on vehicle/powertrain system and EMS components working concepts.
• Good knowledge of EMS / ECU and its strategies, function analysis and diagnosis of the components. Experience in Turbocharged engine EMS is a plus.
• Good knowledge of powertrain, ICE, transmission and EMS new technologies.
• Familiar with production methods, technologies and OEM requirements.
• Familiar with engineering documents utilization (drawings, Specifications, data sheets, test plans).
• Familiar with Engine / Vehicle calibration and related tools.
• Familiar with quality concepts in automotive industry.
• Proficient in making technical report.
• Good communication, presentation, project planning and management skills.
• Good in customer relationship and its management.
• Willingness to be a part of a multitask team with proven teamwork abilities and also capable of working independently.

Mandatory Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in mechanical engineering, electrical (electronics) engineering or similar fields.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (comprehension / conversation / read / write).
• Driving license.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to ECU team leader and Powertrain BU manager.
• Leading new EMS development projects (ECU) including HW, SW & CAL based on customer / internal requests  as assigned by management.
• Daily follow up and interaction with Crouse Calibration team and customer project team.
• Validating new released ECU SW & CAL before mass production.
• Monitoring foreign/ Local suppliers and validating their engineering changes on incoming parts/ Materials.
• Monitoring business trends and competitors’ activities and preparing monthly reports for management.
• Preparing and modifying production documents (SSP, ELT, PLT).
• Collaboration with R&I, Calibration, Production, Quality, supply and sales team to meet customer demands and requirements.
• Testing ECUs returned from customer and preparing reports.
• Making engineering samples for initial investigation and tests.
• Checking different EMS samples and making technical test reports.
• Production Line stops follow up and giving report.
• Participation in quality assurance system.
• Supporting customer product launch e.g. hot test, power test, Diag tools.
