Mission
 The DCIM Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems. The role involves ensuring accurate data collection, infrastructure monitoring, and automation to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance.

Additionally, the DCIM Engineer plays a key role in troubleshooting issues, optimizing power and cooling efficiency, and integrating DCIM tools with IT and facility management systems. The role is crucial in maintaining real-time data accuracy, supporting infrastructure expansion, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Experience
 
·         Minimum 2-3 years of experience in data center operations and infrastructure management.

·         Hands-on experience with DCIM platforms such as D42

·         Strong knowledge of data center monitoring, IT infrastructure, and automation tools.

·         Experience troubleshooting power, cooling, and environmental monitoring issues.

·         Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.

·         Understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, and compliance frameworks.
Roles & Responsibilities

·         Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of DCIM tools.

·         Monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions to optimize efficiency and prevent failures.

·         Maintain real-time asset tracking and configuration data to ensure accurate inventory management.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues using DCIM insights and automation scripts.

·         Support capacity planning by analyzing trends and generating reports on power, cooling, and space utilization.

·         Collaborate with IT and Facilities teams to implement best practices for infrastructure optimization.

·         Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, maintaining accurate documentation for audits.

·         Develop automation workflows and scripting solutions to enhance data center operations.

·         Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software upgrades, ensuring seamless integration.

·         Participate in disaster recovery planning and execute preventive maintenance tasks.
