• To document incidents and ensure root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• To monitor and analyze network traffic trends, ensuring sufficient capacity to handle current and future loads.
• To forecast requirements and plan expansions or upgrades as needed.
• To configure BRAS equipment and services in line with operational requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
• To ensure smooth integration of BRAS with other network elements, such as IP core, Charging, and access systems.
• To implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard BRAS systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
• To monitor the broadband service specifications such as online subscribers, efficient integration of AAA and its overload, and up/down stream interfaces.
• To implement BRAS configurations related to the charging system, including day-to-day review and revision.
• To utilize the knowledge of monitoring systems such as Huawei NCE and PRTG to ensure optimized usage and efficient monitoring.
• To ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards for data security and network management.
• To work closely with planning, design, and implementation teams to align BRAS operations with organizational goals.
• To provide support to customer service teams for resolving BRAS-related issues affecting end users.
• To coordinate with vendors for support, equipment maintenance, and performance improvements.
• To ensure vendor compliance with SLAs related to BRAS operations.
