Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage Linux and Windows operating systems
- Install and configure necessary services such as web servers, databases, and network services Infrastructure Monitoring & Management.
- Monitor server and service performance using monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus)
- Optimize hardware and software resources for better system efficiency
- User Management & Access Control
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Apply security patches and updates to prevent vulnerabilities
- Automation & IT Process Optimization
- Develop scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks
- Use configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Install and update software, operating systems, and frameworks
- Evaluate the impact of changes on the operational environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in systems operations or related roles
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and Windows Server administration
- Experience with Microsoft Services
- Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
- Proficiency in database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- Understanding of network security and firewall management
- Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
