Job Description

The logistics drop-off supervisor oversees the drop-off operations within the supply chain, ensuring that shipments are delivered to designated locations efficiently and accurately. This role involves coordinating with drivers, managing schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing processes to enhance overall operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily drop-off operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor logistics processes, resolve operational challenges, and improve efficiency.
• Assign tasks, train staff, and enforce safety and compliance regulations.
• Act as a liaison between drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve issues.
• Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
• Track delivery performance, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage documentation and inventory, as well as coordinate with warehouse teams.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with teams and customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
