Job Description

Alibaba Travels, a leading online travel agency, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our fast-paced, growth-oriented team. This role will be instrumental in scaling our teams across Technology, Product, Product Design, and Marketing by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with a strong background in recruiting for startups or fast-growing tech companies, and who thrives in a high-performance culture.

Job Description:

As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with hiring managers and department leads to manage the full-cycle recruitment process. You’ll develop sourcing strategies, engage passive candidates, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout. You will also provide regular hiring insights and metrics to guide recruitment strategies and help shape the future of hiring at Alibaba Travels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for roles in Tech, Product, Product Design, and Marketing departments.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs and team goals.
  • Source and attract high potential candidates through a variety of channels including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and referral programs.
  • Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
  • Provide timely and effective communication to candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize ATS systems effectively to manage candidate data, reporting, and workflows.
  • Present hiring metrics, reports, and insights to direct manager on a regular basis.
  • Ensure a strong employer brand and positive candidate experience at every stage of the process.
  • Negotiate offers with candidates and handle closing processes with professionalism and precision.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, salary benchmarks, and industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech environment.
  • Proven success in hiring for a variety of roles across Tech, Product, Design, and Marketing.
  • Resilience and ability to manage multiple roles and shifting priorities with confidence.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., CanDo, ).
  • Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to close candidates at various levels.
  • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Ability to provide detailed hiring reports and analytics.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passionate about recruitment, people, and organizational growth.
