Position Summary
The Litigation & Compliance Specialist will play a vital role in safeguarding the company’s legal interests by handling small to medium legal disputes and supporting overall compliance and risk mitigation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Litigation Handling
· Represent the company in small to mid-size lawsuits (up to Tomans 500 million) before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities, under the supervision of an experienced legal supervisor or of-counsel attorney.
· File claims, register legal representation, and attend court hearings across various jurisdictions.
· Draft legal documents, including pleadings, statements of defense, and appeals, in coordination with the legal team.
2. Compliance & Risk Mitigation
· Translate insights from legal disputes into actionable improvements in compliance processes, complaint handling, and preventive measures.
· Monitor and assess the company’s responses to customer complaints, especially those submitted through government and regulatory platforms.
· Review and provide guidance on customer-facing responses prepared by the call center, ensuring professionalism and legal accuracy.
· Identify recurring complaint trends and recommend appropriate preventive actions.
3. Contractual Support
· Advise on commercial contract clauses and template improvements using knowledge gained from litigation experience.
· Collaborate in the drafting and revision of contracts to identify legal risks and ensure contractual clarity.
4. Legal Advisory
· Provide internal teams with legal recommendations informed by real case experience.
· Stay up to date on applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards impacting the business.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
· Licensed attorney (Bar admission required)
· Minimum 6 months of courtroom experience (as a licensed lawyer or apprentice), including active legal defense
· At least 2 years of full-time in-house corporate legal experience
· Strong legal drafting, argumentation, and analytical skills
· Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
· Ability to engage with customers in sensitive legal situations with clarity and diplomacy
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Familiarity with contract law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution procedures.
