RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Warehouse and Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Oversee inventory accuracy and implement measures to minimize waste and deadstock.
2. Product Forecasting and Ordering:
- Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and market demand to create accurate forecasts.
- Plan and manage product ordering cycles to ensure availability while minimizing overstock.
3. Strategic Purchasing:
- Identify best sales forecast for promotional items and campaign
- Develop procurement strategies to maximize cost efficiency and support marketing/sales initiatives.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics to provide actionable business insights.
- Monitor KPIs such as stock days, zero stock, ATP, Waste
5. Assortment Refinement:
- Evaluate product assortments to ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Identify opportunities for product performance and category optimization.
6. Stock and Waste Monitoring:
- Track and report on stock levels, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts.
- Implement strategies to reduce waste and manage deadstock effectively.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sourcing, sales, and operations teams to align category initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Partner with suppliers to enhance product offerings and dispatch plan to dark stores.
Qualifications, Competencies & Skills (KSA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial engineering or a related field. (Optional)
- Proven experience in FMCG category management, with a focus on warehouse and inventory operations.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stock, and waste effectively.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and inventory management systems.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
