About the Role:

We are seeking a General Accounting Team Lead to oversee and lead a team of accountants in a professional and efficient manner. In this role, you will work closely with senior managers, and various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You will also be responsible for developing strategies to enhance team productivity, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coaching team members for their professional development within the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for controlling routine accounting tasks. 
  • Controlling all vouchers submitted by other members.
  • Finding and addressing any discrepancy in accounting.
  • Offering advice to team members on how to manage responsibilities.
  • Checking payment requests and controlling balance sheet.
  • Preparing reports for expenses & revenues.
  • Communicate with third parties for reconciling & confirming the balance.
  • Controlling & reconciling accounts payable and receivable
  • Examining the financial documents and confirming their accuracy with laws and regulations.
  • Assisting financial manager to prepare financial statements.
  • Submitting vat and tax return according to tax office deadline.
  • Communicating with auditors & tax officers.
  • Having good knowledge of tax and seasonal reports in order to check other team members.

 
Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. 
  • At least 6 years of related experience. 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and especially Excel.
  • Having responsibilities about the daily task.
  • Able to negotiate with other members as a team.
  • Good communication skill. 
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to make right decisions even under stressful situations.
  • Focused and precise on the given tasks.
  • Ability to manage the time to perform the given tasks in a timely manner. 
  • Familiar with Tax and SSO.
