Mission
· To manage and coordinate the planning, implementation, integration, and support of security solutions for the packet core network (5G, CUPS, EPC, WiFi, etc.) to ensure robust protection, compliance, and continuity of services.
To collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all security requirements are met across services, while fostering an inclusive environment that supports individual contributions, growth, and success.
Roles & Responsibilities
· To design and implement security architectures for packet core networks (e.g., 5G, CUPS, EPC, WiFi) to ensure robust protection against internal and external threats.
· To analyze and interpret regulatory requirements to align packet core security measures with national and international compliance standards.
· To monitor and manage the capacity of security infrastructures across packet core and interconnect interfaces to prevent potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
· To evaluate security-related KPIs within the packet core domain to enhance customer trust and satisfaction through measurable security performance.
· To collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to introduce and integrate new security services and requirements effectively.

· To oversee the seamless integration of new packet core network elements with existing security frameworks to maintain a cohesive security posture.
· To coordinate with the Network Group (NWG) department to ensure that all network plans comply with established security policies and regulations.
· To lead initiatives on emerging technologies, focusing on integrating new 5G features with existing security devices to stay ahead of potential threats.
· To deploy and configure necessary firewalls (e.g., GTP firewall) within the packet core domain to detect and mitigate malicious activities proactively.
· To manage and mentor the security team to achieve organizational goals related to network security and operational excellence.
· To develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for packet core security systems to ensure rapid recovery from incidents.
· To implement and utilize telecom penetration testing tools to identify and address exploitable vulnerabilities within the packet core network..
· To collaborate with senior managers to stay informed of the latest cybersecurity trends and provide input into the implementation of relevant security practices.To assist in conducting regular security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
· To support the implementation of established security policies and procedures within the packet core domain.
Job Requirements
Education
· BS in telecommunication engineering or related
· English Fluency
Experience
· At least 5 years of experience in the core domain with a good understanding of telecommunication and IP
