Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead the commercial insight and analytics strategy to unlock opportunities for growth, profitability, and strategic advantage.
• Define, refine, and interpret key commercial KPIs, ensuring consistent tracking and insightful interpretation across the organization.
• Synthesize complex data sets, market intelligence, and behavioral trends into clear business narratives and strategic recommendations.
• Develop and lead the data visualisation and business intelligence infrastructure and activities to concisely capture patterns and allow decision-makers to access insight from data.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape commercial planning, resource allocation, and long-term forecasting with data-informed input.
• Represent the Commercial department in high-level strategic discussions, bringing evidence-based insight to guide prioritization and investments.
• Evaluate internal data capabilities and gaps, and influence decisions on future data tooling, modeling, and reporting needs.
• Deliver presentations and concise data stories that empower leaders to act confidently and strategically.
• Lead analytical and operational teams towards capturing and utilizing insight from the market and external partners.
• Create synergies and reduce redundancies in information gathering and data analysis processes in the department and the team to increase collaboration and methodical standardization.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience in business strategy, commercial analytics, insights — preferably in ecommerce organizations.
• Demonstrated success in leading analytical work with high business impact, particularly in commercial or strategic planning contexts.
• Proficiency in Excel and at least one major BI/dashboarding tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Understanding of SQL and working with data teams.
• Experience working with brand image and promoting value through Vendor experience.
• Understanding of advanced business planning and budgeting.
• In-depth knowledge of different business functions such as Sales, Business Analysis, etc.
• Solid grasp of key commercial metrics (LTV, CAC, ARPU, churn, conversion, etc.) and how they drive business decisions.
• Superior project management skills.
• Familiar with e-Business infrastructure and ecosystem.
• Deep analytical thinking, advanced skills in synthesizing data into actionable insights.
• Strong leadership presence, stakeholder management ability, and strategic communication skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity; skilled at prioritizing analytical efforts that move the business forward.
