About Digikala

Digikala is the largest e-commerce platform in Iran, serving millions of customers and offering a comprehensive range of products and services. The Ad Services Business Line provides innovative advertising solutions to help brands and sellers grow visibility and sales across Digikala's ecosystem.

Position Overview

As a Data Analyst in the Ad Services Business Line, you will be at the core of decision-making by transforming advertising data into valuable business insights. You’ll support commercial strategy, campaign performance tracking, and product development through advanced data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze advertising data to evaluate campaign performance, monetization trends, and user behavior.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key business and operational metrics.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and marketing to provide data-driven insights.
  •  Assist in forecasting, budget planning, and goal tracking for the Ad Services business.
  • Identify optimization opportunities across advertiser funnels and campaign delivery.
  • Support A/B testing, user segmentation, and targeting strategies through data analysis.
  • Work closely with the BI and Data Engineering teams to improve data quality and availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in digital advertising, marketplaces, or online platforms.
  • Proficient in python, SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
  • Familiarity with digital advertising metrics (e.g., CPM, CTR, CPC, ROAS) and online performance measurement.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good communication skills in English; ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Google Ads, or marketplace ad platforms.
  • Knowledge of Python for data processing or analytics automation.
  • Understanding of advertising attribution, bid optimization, and audience targeting.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional business environment.
