Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities
•To support Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Manager by contributing to infrastructure architectural designs and architecture review processes, enhancing systems availability and service integration through planning updates, follow-ups, and coordination of meetings.
•To monitor compliance with architectural standards and recommend technical adjustments in consultation with application development teams and the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Manager.
•To abreast with the global infrastructure planning and delivery knowledge and suggest new initiatives and technologies that may benefit from early consideration of ITS alternatives.
•To collaborate with the Data Center team in executing the operation of DC Facilities and Services, including HW, OS and Databases.
•To ensure a stable operating environment in terms of Data Centre services and facilities in the assigned MTNIrancell regions through planning for on-time infrastructure expansion and modernization.
•To support the execution of IT infrastructure projects within the assigned MTNIrancell regions. 
•To support Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Manager to remain fully aligned with the core DC operation and strategies under Infrastructure Planning and delivery Manager supervision.
•To work closely with the Network IP team to ensure Infrastructure stability and network capacity in the regions. 
•To support implementation of infrastructure strategies and contribute to shaping the technical direction of the Data Center to maintain MTNIrancell’s competitive advantage.
•To facilitate the delivery of Infrastructure Projects based on SLAs and monitor other projects within Infrastructure from a planning and PM perspective. 
•To conduct post-implementation reviews of live systems to assess infrastructure performance and ensure continuous service operations.
•To liaise with different ITS teams, business units, and outsourcing partners in the assigned region to fulfil business requirements in Infrastructure.
•To monitor and evaluate the performance of vendors related to Infrastructure Delivery.
•To coordinate different outsourcing partners and play the role of a mediator to resolve conflicts among them.
•To assess the alignment of ITS infrastructure with current operational needs and future business strategies by consulting on infrastructure development projects and minimizing negative impact on business processes.
•To support the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Manager in assessing the technological costs and impact of recommended changes from infrastructure vendors and clarifying priorities based on infrastructure requirements. 
•To evaluate the feasibility and desirability of incorporating new technologies and product capabilities in coordination with the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Manager.
•To support the infrastructure delivery process  and ensuring its alignment with capacity management requirements. 

Job Requirements
Education
•B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
Experience
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Planning and Delivery area; with experience in supervising/managing others
•Experience working in a medium to large organization
•Experience in:
o    Systems integration & co-ordination 
o    Project management
o    Software development
o    Information technology and application architecture
