IT Audit Supervisor (Technology & Security)

Job Description: 

The IT Audit Supervisor (Technology & Security) is responsible for managing audit teams in projects related to information Technology, cybersecurity, and information systems. The role requires a strong IT background combined with hands-on data expertise, including data analysis, assessment of technology and security controls, and preparation of accurate and practical reports for senior manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead internal audits in IT and information security, ensuring alignment with professional standards.
• Leverage both IT knowledge and data expertise to analyze systems, processes, and controls effectively.
• Analyze large and complex datasets, extract actionable insights, and validate results for management decision-making.
• Design and execute IT and security control tests on processes, applications, and databases.
• Utilize SQL and database tools for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
• Identify IT and security risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare professional management reports with PowerPoint and document audit findings in accordance with audit standards.
• Manage, coach, and supervise audit team members throughout assigned engagements.
• Build strong collaboration with IT and security departments to facilitate audit processes.
• Monitor emerging trends in IT audit, data analytics, and cybersecurity, and incorporate.

Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT audit, information security, or data analytics with IT focus.
  • Strong IT background with proven ability to work with systems, applications, and databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management tools.
  • Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for professional reporting and documentation.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in audit and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus.
  • Professional certifications in IT audit or security (e.g., CISA, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with managers and cross-functional teams.
