Job Description:
The IT Audit Supervisor (Technology & Security) is responsible for managing audit teams in projects related to information Technology, cybersecurity, and information systems. The role requires a strong IT background combined with hands-on data expertise, including data analysis, assessment of technology and security controls, and preparation of accurate and practical reports for senior manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead internal audits in IT and information security, ensuring alignment with professional standards.
- Leverage both IT knowledge and data expertise to analyze systems, processes, and controls effectively.
- Analyze large and complex datasets, extract actionable insights, and validate results for management decision-making.
- Design and execute IT and security control tests on processes, applications, and databases.
- Utilize SQL and database tools for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
- Identify IT and security risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare professional management reports with PowerPoint and document audit findings in accordance with audit standards.
- Manage, coach, and supervise audit team members throughout assigned engagements.
- Build strong collaboration with IT and security departments to facilitate audit processes.
- Monitor emerging trends in IT audit, data analytics, and cybersecurity, and incorporate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT audit, information security, or data analytics with IT focus.
- Strong IT background with proven ability to work with systems, applications, and databases.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management tools.
- Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for professional reporting and documentation.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in audit and data analysis.
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus.
- Professional certifications in IT audit or security (e.g., CISA, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with managers and cross-functional teams.
