Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
To supervise and coordinate external contractors for corrective and preventive maintenance of technical and non-technical facilities, ensuring activities follow checklists and results are recorded in PM databases.
To monitor, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of critical infrastructure (power systems, HVAC, UPS, fire suppression, elevators, security systems, and monitoring platforms such as FIMS and Neteco).
To track incident tickets, analyze Work Order costs, verify pre-invoices, and propose cost-effective technical solutions.
To ensure all maintenance activities are performed within scheduled timelines, with no variation between planned and actual completion.
To prepare and submit operational and compliance reports (PM/CM status, MTTr, MTBF, incident, disposal, audit, and crisis-related reports) as per approved templates and schedules.
To ensure adherence to maintenance contracts, policies, and processes, escalating non-compliance or critical issues to line management.
To obtain required approvals before work order issuance and ensure proper closure in ticketing/automation systems.
To coordinate regional facility assets (allocation, replacement, movement, and disposal) in line with company rules.
To monitor warehouse activities, including receipt, transfer, and distribution of spare parts and tools, and ensure stock reports are regularly updated and submitted to management and planning teams.
To liaise with government bodies, SOC, cybersecurity, and internal customers for facilities-related matters, ensuring timely support and secure operations.
To collaborate with Facilities Electrical Engineer to allocate required infrastructure for new projects and office relocations.
To maintain effective cross-functional relationships with other departments/divisions to ensure timely resolution of received requests.
To monitor regional facilities 24/7, respond to service-affecting CRs and natural disasters, and propose improvements to procedures.
To follow up on crisis management committee warnings, monitor environmental risks, and ensure all facilities requirements are in place to sustain business continuity.
To follow up with contractors on invoice submission and ensure timely processing in the automation system.
To monitor CCTV and monitoring systems and check the related contractor to fix the issues.
To collect buildings’ bills promptly and deliver them to FAC finance to facilitate the payment process.
To provide support to facilities projects at other sites, including travel assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
BSc in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in supervising others
