

Mission
•    To manage the operation of the Core CS/IMS Network on a national basis to:
o    Ensure a high-quality CS/IMS services experience for the end user (customer)
o    Provide 24-hour operation and maintenance of all Core CS/IMS Network functions
Roles & Responsibilities
•    To manage the relationship with other operators to ensure sufficient interconnect capacity and the KPI-based quality. 
•    To liaise with Manage Services to ensure that the Core CS/IMS Network is operated/managed according to world best practices.
•    To interface across the company with Marketing, Planning, NMC, and ITS to ensure a seamless operation of the Core CS/IMS network/services.
•    To interface with International Organizations, such as Global standardization bodies (ITU/3GPP/ETS/IEEE/IETF Forum), Vendors, and international telecommunication operators to ensure MTNIrancell Network operator stays ahead with new technologies, Products, and Services in the Core CS/IMS network area.
•    To manage all access levels and permissions affecting and making any changes on Core CS/IMS elements like HSS, MSS, STP/SPS, UDM, MGW, IMS, SBC, UPCF, ENS, etc.
•    To manage the network monitoring of all Core CS/IMS nodes, including but not limited to MSS/ MGW/ STP/ SPS/ HSS/ UDM/ IMS/ SBC/ UPCF/ ENS, together with network optimization rules for applications.
•    To manage vendors’ KPIs in the Core CS/IMS operations area, monitor the Service Level Agreements (SLA) as agreed in their Managed Services, and monitor and report the 3rd line support as per SLA.
•    To manage day-to-day operational issues/Trouble shoots/failures/capacity of Core CS/IMS network.
•    To manage interconnect entity control via negotiating with different operators.
•    To manage the team to provide and update the DRP/TRP/Contingency plan for the Core CS/IMS network.
•    To manage the operation of the Core CS/IMS network at various levels of operation and initiate actions to improve the quality, availability, and measurement of this area. 
•    To maintain close technical links with all suppliers and manage Service Level Agreements with them.
•    To forecast Core CS/IMS Network capacity and prepare utilization and dimensioning plans.
•    To manage the operational aspects of the interface of the company with the transmission supplier (TIC /TCP/), in terms of interconnect issues. 
•    To manage the integrity of the Core CS/IMS network data configuration and software configurations, and manage Core CS/IMS network integration of new services 
•    To analyze cross-systems impact on Core CS/IMS network operation with the various vendors present in the MTNIrancell network.
•    To manage meeting MTNIrancell Core Network operation objectives and ensure NP&SLA KPIs are met. 
•    To manage the development of an automated and effective environment for the Core CS/IMS network; this includes aligning the NP&SLA with MTNIrancell.
•    To manage the task automations of repetitive works within the team using trending technologies and AI.
•    To facilitate the research, definition, specification, and integration of the operational requirements for new Core CS/IMS network technologies and services supported by Network Operations.
•    To manage the preparation of reports regularly and comprehensively on the progress and activities of the Core CS/IMS nodes, Consolidated, and Vendor-specific.
•    To operate the troubleshoot of non-performance areas within the Core CS/IMS environment.
•    To manage the OSS components of the NP&SLA area for overall efficiency and trouble spots using network performance tools. 
•    To manage the application of ISO9001 quality principles in all core network operations elements. This includes the review and generation of quality procedures.
•    To manage all core operations related requirements within the financial requirements of the company, and manage all related expenditures.
Job Requirements
Education
•    B.Sc. in Electronic, Telecommunication Engineering, or related field 
•    Fluent in English
Experience
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in supervising/managing others
•    Experience working in a medium to large organization 
•    Experience in managing a technical team
