About the Role
Digikala is seeking an experienced and visionary HSE Manager to lead our Health, Safety & Environment strategy across the organization. In this senior role, you will oversee the development and execution of HSE policies, ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety, environmental protection, and operational continuity. Your leadership will help safeguard our people, protect the environment, and drive a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement HSE strategies, policies, and management systems aligned with international standards and regulatory requirements.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and continuously improve HSE performance across the organization.
Drive a proactive, risk-based approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation.
Risk & Compliance Management
Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
Oversee analysis of incidents and occupational illnesses to identify root causes and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
Ensure waste management and pollution control measures meet environmental requirements.
Operational Excellence
Supervise inspections, audits, and emergency preparedness programs to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Coordinate with HR, operations, and other departments to integrate HSE best practices into daily business activities.
Lead emergency response planning and direct rapid, effective actions in crisis situations.
Culture & Development
Promote a strong safety culture by implementing training programs for employees and contractors.
Mentor and develop the HSE team, ensuring continuous professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Introduce innovative safety and environmental solutions to increase productivity and reduce operational risks.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 6+ years of HSE experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of local legal requirements and international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement large-scale HSE initiatives.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Crisis management and emergency response expertise.
