Digikala is the leading e-commerce and quick commerce (Q-Commerce) platform in the region, redefining how millions of people shop for everyday essentials. Our Q-Commerce division is focused on delivering groceries, fresh produce, and daily needs to customers in under 30 minutes. To accelerate growth, we’re looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our team and help us make data-driven decisions that shape our campaigns, customer acquisition strategies, and retention efforts.
Role Overview
As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be the backbone of the marketing decision-making process. You will analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and acquisition funnels to optimize spend, maximize ROI, and enable personalized targeting. You will work closely with the marketing, growth, and product teams to transform raw data into actionable insights.
● Collect, clean, and analyze marketing and transactional data from multiple sources (campaign platforms, CRM, app analytics, data warehouse).
● Develop dashboards and automated reports to monitor key KPIs (CAC, CLV, ROAS, retention rates, funnel conversion, churn).
● Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns across digital channels (Push, SMS, Paid Ads, Social Media, Influencers, Email).
● Partner with marketing managers to design A/B tests and measure incrementality of campaigns.
● Segment users (new vs. returning, high-value vs. churn-risk, geo-segmentation) to support targeted marketing initiatives.
● Provide insights and recommendations to optimize media allocation, creatives, and promotional strategies.
● Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure proper data tracking and attribution.
● Support strategic initiatives such as loyalty programs, cross-sell campaigns, and new customer onboarding journeys.
● Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
● 2–4 years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in e-commerce, quick commerce, or consumer tech.
● Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift).
● Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
● Experience with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase).
● Knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Adjust, Firebase, Braze) and attribution models.
● Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
● Familiarity with statistical methods for experiment design and hypothesis testing.
