Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the commercial insight and analytics strategy to identify opportunities for growth, profitability, and strategic advantage.
- Define, refine, and interpret key commercial KPIs, ensuring consistent tracking and insightful interpretation across the organization.
- Develop and lead data visualization and business intelligence infrastructure and activities to identify patterns and enable decision-makers to access insights from data.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape commercial planning, resource allocation, and long-term forecasting based on data.
- Represent the Commercial department in high-level strategic discussions, providing evidence-based insights to guide prioritization and investments.
- Evaluate internal data capabilities and gaps, and influence decisions on future data tools, modeling, and reporting needs.
- Deliver presentations and concise data stories that empower leaders to make confident and strategic decisions.
- Lead analytical and operational teams to extract insights from data.
- Create synergies and reduce redundancies in information gathering and data analysis processes within the department and team to increase collaboration and standardization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce organizations in the areas of data analysis, planning, strategy, or operations.
- Proven experience leading teams in data analysis, business analysis, operations, planning, or strategy.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Looker).
- Familiarity with Python.
- Familiarity or proficiency with data engineering principles is considered a competitive advantage.
- Advanced understanding of business planning and budgeting.
- Deep knowledge of various business functions, including Sales and Business Analysis.
- Strong project management skills.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
