SQL Server Database Administrator

Job Specifications

• 3+ years experience as a SQL server DBA which includes HADR Scenarios (Distributed Availability Group ,Availability Group ,Failover Cluster Instance ,Mirroring and etc.)
• Analyze Servers/Instances/Databases issues and troubleshoot database platform problems
• Database performance tuning
• Database disaster recovery planning and testing
• Database security
• Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
• Expert understanding of SQL query execution and advanced scripting in Batch, T-SQL
• Experience implementing ETL workflows
• Maintain and extend (as required) existing database operations solution for backups, index defragmentation, data retention, etc.
• Collaborate with software and DevOps engineers to design scalable services, plan feature roll-out, and ensure high reliability and performance of our products.
• Provide service and support determined by the current Service Level Agreements, including 24 x 7 rotational on-call support for production databases.
• Having experience with Linux and PostgreSQL is considered an advantage.
