Job Description

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate the procurement process from requisition to purchase order, ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and inventory levels.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement reports for management review.

Requirment:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess vendor capabilities and pricing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CIPS).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with contract management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
