We are seeking a Legal Senior Team Lead to spearhead TAPSI’s legal strategy and oversee the company’s legal and regulatory landscape. In this role, you will lead and empower the legal department, act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, and drive legal initiatives that support the company’s long-term growth and innovation. You will manage complex legal matters across multiple business ventures, ensure compliance, and guide TAPSI’s approach to emerging legal and regulatory challenges. This position requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to risk management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key advisor to executive management on high-impact legal and business matters.
Oversee the development and implementation of company-wide legal frameworks, policies, and governance practices. - Supervise and mentor legal professionals, fostering continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Manage complex, high-value negotiations and ensure optimal legal outcomes for the organization. Anticipate and mitigate potential legal and regulatory risks across all TAPSI business units and ventures.
- Oversee dispute resolution and litigation strategy, collaborating with external counsel as needed.
- Provide expert legal counsel on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring timely adaptation of internal processes and policies.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Product teams—to integrate legal insights into business decisions.
- Represent the organization in discussions with regulatory authorities, partners, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution (advanced legal certifications are a plus).
At least 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with expertise in corporate, contract, employment, competition, and capital market law. - Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing legal teams.
