Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end design for assigned product features, from problem discovery and ideation to delivery, release, and post-launch optimization.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to design practical, scalable solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Design, refine, and optimize user flows and experiences across defined scenarios, with a strong focus on clarity, usability, and consistency.
• Translate user research insights, product requirements, and data into thoughtful, user-centered design solutions.
• Participate in qualitative and quantitative research activities such as user interviews, usability testing, and experiment analysis; synthesize findings into actionable design insights.
• Design high-quality, polished user interfaces and interaction patterns aligned with Foodro’s product vision and brand guidelines.
• Design with business impact in mind; optimize user experiences to improve key metrics such as conversion rate, retention, and successful order completion.
• Use, contribute to, and help evolve Foodro’s design system and component library to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
• Work closely with front-end engineers to support accurate, high-quality implementation and resolve design–engineering gaps.
• Act as a strong user advocate by continuously highlighting user needs, pain points, and behavioral insights throughout the product development process.
• Review released features, analyze qualitative feedback and quantitative performance, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance user experience and business outcomes.
• Actively participate in design critiques by clearly presenting work, giving constructive feedback, and incorporating feedback from others.
• Clearly communicate design decisions, rationale, assumptions, and trade-offs to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in product design (UX/UI), preferably on consumer-facing digital products.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving ability, design thinking, and shipped products (process matters as much as visuals).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Proven experience designing user flows and managing multiple use cases within complex products.
• Hands-on experience with component-based design and working within or building design systems.
• Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
• High proficiency in Figma; experience with prototyping and design collaboration workflows is a plus.
• Analytical and product-oriented mindset with the ability to understand ambiguous problems and propose effective design solutions.
• Basic understanding of technical constraints and experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.
• Comfortable working in an MVP-driven, fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and imperfect data.
• Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative product team.
