IT Help Desk

About the Position

We at Khodro45 are looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist who can play an effective role in the areas of user support, network infrastructure management, and IT equipment maintenance. This position involves working in the Passive and Active layers of the network as well as day-to-day user support.

Job Description

Network (Passive)

Implementation of network cabling (LAN) including Cat6 / Cat6a and fiber optics

Installation and setup of rack & stack equipment

Patching and labeling

Cable Management

Installation and maintenance of passive equipment such as:

Patch Panel

Keystone

Faceplate

Troubleshooting physical network problems (cable breakage, noise, weak signal)

Cooperation in setting up new sites (Deployment)

Network (Active)

Installation, setup and support of network equipment:

Switch

Router

Access Point

Introduction to the concepts of:

VLAN

DHCP

DNS

Routing (Static / Basic Dynamic)

Network and service monitoring

Troubleshooting communication problems (Latency, Packet Loss, Timeout)

Systems and services

Support for:

VoIP

CCTV

Cooperation in improving network performance and availability

Help Desk and support Users

Responding to user requests and problems (face-to-face and remote)

Installing and launching Windows / Linux operating systems

Installing corporate and general software

Managing users in Active Directory

Resolving daily user problems (network, printer, email, software)

Supporting user equipment:

Laptop

Desktop

Printer

Scanner

Maintenance and operations

Periodic equipment visits

Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure problems

Coordinating for the installation of new equipment

Ensuring the stability of communications

Documenting actions taken

Preparing periodic reports

Adhering to SLA in responding to and resolving problems

Collaborating in improving IT processes

Required skills and conditions

Practical familiarity with network concepts

Experience working with network equipment, preferably MikroTik / Cisco / UniFi

Familiarity with Active Directory

Strong troubleshooting ability

Responsibility and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
