Job Description

Job Purpose

The Partnership Manager at Digikala Ads is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing strategic advertising, sponsorship, media, and commercial partnerships with external businesses. The main objective of this role is to attract advertising budgets, create new revenue opportunities, and build strategic collaborations that contribute to the growth of Digikala’s ecosystem.

This role primarily focuses on partnerships with non-endemic advertisers and brands that do not directly sell products on Digikala’s Marketplace, but aim to leverage Digikala’s media and advertising capabilities to achieve their marketing and business objectives.

Responsibility

  • Identify new revenue opportunities outside the Marketplace.
  • Attract advertising and marketing budgets from non-endemic businesses.
  • Develop revenue-generating partnerships with service-based and corporate brands.
  • Design and develop new commercial partnership models.
  • Develop media and advertising partnerships.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with external businesses.
  • Develop value-creating media barter opportunities.
  • Develop co-marketing and co-branding opportunities.
  • Attract sponsors for campaigns, events, and exclusive programs.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
  • Manage commercial and advertising negotiations.
  • Design and present partnership proposals.
  • Build long-term relationships with strategic partners.
  • Design advertising solutions tailored to brands’ business and marketing objectives.
  • Provide solutions across brand awareness, lead generation, and performance marketing.
  • Contribute to the development of new revenue-generating products and services.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Commercial, Product, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • Manage internal stakeholders across joint projects.
  • Contribute to defining policies and processes for working with external partners.

Technical and Business Skills

  • Strong understanding of the advertising and media industry

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership, Sponsorship, Media Sales, or Advertising Sales
  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience
  • Proven experience in negotiating and closing commercial agreements with large organizations and enterprises
  • Experience in advertising, e-commerce, or marketing teams
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, MBA, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English for negotiations and professional interactions
